A romantic candle light dinner, followed by port in front of the large combustion log fire is a splendid end to the day.
If absolute seclusion is what you desire then stay in at Mt. Tully. Discover the flora and fauna. See the wild flowers in Spring. Take in the scenery from the verandah while enjoying your complimentary basket breakfast. Stroll along the private bush walking tracks and maybe enjoy lunch at one of our secluded picnic spots.
The cottage has a colonial ambience and charm with all the modern comforts. Take the time to relax, unwind and restore yourself.
Thirty-seven acres of natural bushland and granite outcrops surround the cottage. Declared as a nature refuge, it is part of an important 'nature corridor' linking to Girraween National Park, and the land contains rare ecosystems and habitat for rare wildlife.
Don't forget your binoculars! Birds commonly seen and heard include wrens, finches, thornbills, cuckoo-shrikes, whistlers, fantails, tree-creepers, lorikeets, spinebills and other honeyeaters, warblers and black cockatoos. Short walking trails lead through the bush and, especially in spring and summer, show a profusion of wildflowers.
Wallabies and wallaroos, marsupial mice, ringtail possums and sugar gliders have all been seen just meters from the cottage.
