This is where the local's shop. The unassuming shop front has probably the freshist fruits and vegetables in the area. Sam's Summit Fruit stocks local Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs, Jams, Honey, Juices, Cheeses, Fresh Woodfired Bread - Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun and much more. It's just a shot drive along the the old highway Granite Belt Drive or known as the 'Fruit Run' at the Summit.

Mon - Fri: 8:00 am to 5:00pm
Sat, Sun: 9:00 am to 5:00pm

Crystal Ridge Lavenders

 

Our shop stocks all of our handmade lavender products as well as a large array of lavender gift lines - candles, china, tea towels and teddy bears amongst other things. In spring and summer, we also have a range of lavender plants for sale. Our farm is situated five minutes east of Stanthorpe, at 10 Daniells Lane, off Amosfield Road. We are open six days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm, closed Wednesdays and Christmas Day only. Buses are most welcome, as are picnickers. We provide a lovely covered patio area where you can sit and enjoy the view, take in the fragrances and relax!!!" Your hosts Trish & Don Gaske are always happy to have a friendly chat and share their knowledge of all things lavender!

Granite Belt Dairy Farmhouse Cheese

 

Granite Belt Dairy Farmhouse Cheese is the only true farmhouse cheese made on the Granite Belt. What's a farmhouse cheese? There aren't many of us around. We make the cheese right from the pasture to the plate. It's made from the milk from a single herd of animals from one farm. It's what makes our cheese unique. Come up to the Dairy Shop and taste for yourself. The tasting room offers a daily selection of cheeses at their peak of perfection for you to sample before making your selection. The cheeses are made to old recipes that still taste like real cheese with no artificial flavours or preservatives. Cheese platters are available to eat here or take back to your accommodation after a long tiring day of wine tasting. Ask for our cold packs if you're traveling around all day. We want you to get it home cool and not squashed. Remember to eat your cheese at room temperature.
